Prescription policy

Prescription-only medicines are supplied responsibly. This policy explains what we require, how review works, and how your prescription is protected.

1

Upload your prescription

Provide a clear photo or scan of a valid prescription from a registered prescriber.

2

Practitioner review

A licensed practitioner verifies the prescription against the Rx items in your order.

3

Approved supply

Only after approval are Rx medicines dispensed. Anything unclear is queried first.

What counts as a valid prescription

  • Issued by a practitioner registered with the Nepal Medical Council or equivalent body.
  • Legible, with the medicine, strength and dosage clearly stated.
  • Within any validity period noted on the prescription.

Medicines that always require a prescription

Products marked Rx in the catalog — including antibiotics and many chronic-care medicines — are never supplied without review. This protects against unsafe or unsupervised use.

How your prescription is stored

Uploaded prescriptions are treated as sensitive health data, accessible only to reviewing practitioners, and retained only as long as required. See the help centre for data handling.
